The guys from Runic Games, the ones that are developing Torchlight 2 at the moment, congratulated Blizzard for announcing Diablo III release date. They believe that there is place for Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2. They also agreed that Torchlight 2 will not be as good a Diablo 3, because they don't have the resources that Blizzard does, but they assured their fans that Torchlight 2 will be worth their money. It feels good as a player to see that the company that produces a certain game really wants you to feel like the money you spent on the game are worth. This means that they really care what you are thinking and that if a massive group of players don't like a feature that the game has, they will do everything possible to change it.
It is nice to see that Runic Games have a positive attitude towards Blizzard's Diablo III. What I like the most is the fact that Blizzard and now Runic Games, both put a great valor on quality and they appreciate their player's opinions. Making a game is not that hard, but making it worth the money isn't that easy, and if you don't put accent on what people think, then that game will be for sure a failure. Luckily, it's not Diablo's or Torchlight 2's case.
Once again, Blizzard's attitude can be praised, if only these days until the final release could pass on faster.
