The legacy of Cain is another Diablo 3 quest that continues the amazing story. At the end of this quest you will find out what happened to Deckard Cain. He was inside the Cathedral when the fallen star struck and now Leah wants to know about her uncle's fate. Blizzard indeed knows how to make this game as interesting as possible. Let's see now some details about "The legacy of Cain" quest.
1. Go to Old Ruins with Leah on your side, by using the New Tristram waypoint.
2. Move to the Old Tristram Gate, located N-E of the Old Tristram waypoint.
3. Leah will open the gate for you, all you have to do is to find Adria's Hut.
4. Northeast of the Old Ruins you will find Adria's Hut.
5. Inside the hut, there is a Hidden Cellar. Use the ladder and move inside the Cellar. Captain Daltyn and some undeads will be there, so kill them.
6. Talk to Leah.
7. Now you will have to move to the Cathedral, where the star has fallen. Exist first the Hidden Cellar and follow the path from Adria's Hut.
8. Explore the Level 1 of the Cathedral.
9. Inside the Cathedral, look for signs of Deckard Cain.
10. Now that you found Deckard Cain, kill the skeletons that are attacking him in the Leoric's Passage.
11. After you defended him, talk to Deckard Cain.
12. Deckard Cain will now go ouside the Leoric's Passage. Follow him outside.
13. Go and speak to Leah in New Tristram.
