We finally made it to the last quest in the first act of Diablo 3: The Reign of the Black King. Now that you found the crown of the Skeleton King, you will have to face it and kill him, this being your main objective in this quest. The storyline is just amazing, what I like a lot about Diablo is the fact that the quests are connected and have a nice flow through the game, making everything much more interesting for the players. If you're stuck and don't know how to finish the "Reign of the Black King" quest in Diablo 3, follow the steps posted below:
1. In order to find Skeleton King and kill him, you have to return to the Cathedral Garden. Use the waypoint in New Tristram.
2. Now that you are in the Cathedral Garden, enter Leoric's Passage.
3. You will have to go to the 2nd level of the Cathedral. Use the Ornate door to get there.
4. Eliminate the Dark Cultists around the warrior.
5. Now move to the 3rd level of the Cathedral and search for the Warrior's stolen arms and armor.
6. Since you are in the Cathedral level 3, kill Jondar with the Templar.
7. Join the Templar in the 3rd level of the Cathedral and search for the Royal Crypts located beneath the Cathedral.
8. When you are in the Royal Crypts, enter the Skeleton King's Crypt.
9. Kill whoever is guarding the gate to the King's tomb.
10. Now you will have to place the Crown of Leoric on the Skeleton King's head.
11. Kill the Skeleton King and afterwards enter the Desolate Chamber which is located in the Skeleton King's Crypt.
12. Now speak to the Stranger in the Desolate Chamber and then go back in New Tristram and speak with Deckard Cain.
