How to kill Diablo on Nightmare & Hell difficulties
Killing
Diablo wasn't such an easy task not even on normal. Well, imagine that
on nightmare and hell, it all gets a lot harder and complicated. Before
you start killing Diablo, remember that this raid boss has 3 phases.
Killing Diablo Raid Boss - 1st phase:
The
first phase is the one in the beginning, when nothing really special
happens compared to the other phases. Take care when he puts "cages" and
he traps you, because if you get caught in one of them, it won't be
nice. Before a cage will appear, you`ll see on the ground a black spot
and after a little delay, the "cage" will appear. In case you are
trapped in a cage, Diablo will come and take you out, holding you in his
hand (not so romantic) and your hp will drop very low, so after he puts
you down, use a health potion. You also have 2 health wells , you
can use them when your potion is on reuse! If you lower Diablo's hp, he
will switch to the next phase.
Killing Diablo Raid Boss - 2nd phase:
Trouble
starts in the moment you switch to 2nd phase. The most dangerous thing
on the 2nd phase is your own clone. You have to take care about it,
because it deals a lot of damage and it can use any skill your class
has. For example, if you're a wizard, your clone will be also a wizard,
which means high dps. When he spawns clones, kill them first and then
hit Diablo. Also, cages won't dissapear either on this phase, so take
care. Hit and run tactic is the best, because if you stay too much in a
place he might grab you.
Killing Diablo Raid Boss - 3rd phase:
The
3rd phase will look like the first one, what will be added "extra" is a
new lightning skill. Always aviod the lightning skill or try to
interrupt Diablo when he casts it. That skill deals a lot of damage,
might even kill you by one hit if you have low hp. Also, don't forget
about the "cages" because those will also make you problems.
As I said before, try to kite Diablo, otherwise your
chances of survival will be really low. Hit and run, don't give him the
opportunity to catch you. In my opinion, playing cooperative games it is
easier, at least when it comes to killing raid bosses. Wondering why?
Because the raid boss can't focus on all of you, just on one and it's also more fun when there any many players.
